Cosmetic Product Safety Report

If you make products which are being sold within the UK and EU, you are legally obliged under the ‘Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 (Enforces 2013) on cosmetic products’ to have performed a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) on your product. The report should be carried out by a person with the relevant qualifications and experience!

Our Responsibility

As Manufacture/Supplier we are legally bound to supply you with all the necessary SDS, IFRA & Allergen documents including the COA for any base products that are used in the manufacturing process to create the finished product, that you will need to submit to obtain a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR). These documents are available to download via the website listed under each fragrance & product base. The above refers to all Own Brand Products. Should you require any additional information please let us know.

Your Responsibility

It is YOUR responsibility as the re-seller/supplier to prepare a (PIF) Product Information File. This consists of the SDS, Allergen & IFRA certificate including any further information of such as Formulation etc. to keep a record of at your place of business. It is also YOUR responsibility to ensure your labelling information is correct (this information can be provided) which should include the full ingredient listing in correct INCI terminology for each variation of your product/s, together with suitable batch coding and contact information to you as the manufacturer.
