Cosmetic Product Safety Report

If you manufacture products for sale in the UK and EU, you are legally required to comply with 'Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 (enforced in 2013) on cosmetic products.' This regulation mandates that a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) must be conducted for your product this also includes stability & challenge testing . The report must be prepared by an individual with the appropriate qualifications and experience.

Our Responsibility

As the manufacturer/supplier, we are legally obligated to provide you with all necessary Safety Data Sheets (SDS), IFRA compliance certificates, allergen documents, and Certificates of Analysis (COA) for any base products used in the manufacturing process. These documents are essential for obtaining a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR). You can download these documents from the website, listed under each fragrance and product base. This applies to all Own Brand Products. If you need any additional information, please let us know.


Your Responsibility

As the re-seller/supplier, it is YOUR responsibility to prepare a Product Information File (PIF). This file must include the Safety Data Sheets (SDS), allergen and IFRA certificates, and any additional information such as formulation details. You must keep this file at your place of business.

Additionally, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure that your product labels are accurate. This includes providing the full ingredient list using correct INCI terminology for each product variation, along with appropriate batch coding and your contact information as the manufacturer. If needed, we can provide the necessary information for your labels.
