Mica is a natural stone material containing shiny and small flakes which are then ground down to form mica powder. The powder looks like a fine glitter and comes in a wide array of colours.

We also have our range for Reddig-Glo candle/wax melt dyes that can be use to enhance the Mica colours.

Reddig-glo candle dye chips which one of our most popular products and are available in 45 colours. Each candle dye chip is formulated to perfectly colour 1 lb of paraffin wax. Simply add the dye chip to melted wax at a temperature of approximately 150 °F and stir in for a consistent colour every time. For soy or other natural waxes you may need to use 2 or more chips to achieve a similar colour.

Reddig-Glo Dye Chips are one of the easiest and most cost-effective candle dye systems on the market.

To check the colouring before pouring, you can do a test by using a cotton bud. This will help you to determine if you’ve added enough chips to obtain the shade you desire.
